Ingredients
• 1 (16 oz.) package dry linguini
• 1 onion, chopped
• 6 cloves garlic, chopped
• 3 tbsps. olive oil
• 4 (6.5 oz.) cans minced clams
• 1/2 cup butter
• salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tbsps. dry white wine
Direction
• Boil a big pot of salted water. Add linguine; boil. Cook till al dente then
drain well.
• Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil in a big skillet till onions are translucent.
Drain cans of minced clams; keep 1/2 of the juice.
• Mix the wine, pepper, salt, butter, reserved juice and clams; simmer for 20
minutes till thick and sauce reduces to 1/3.
• Scoop the clam sauce on linguine; serve.
